Pre 17th Century Cosmetics

Beauty standards change constantly. Those changes may have been slower before the 17th Century, but they still came. Every culture had different standards and recipes based on what was available, what was in fashion and who they interacted with. While I don’t think we should be going around painting our faces with lead these days, we can still learn from the original recipes and recreate the looks without the danger to our health.
